PATHFINDER

A two-year father-son formation journey.

Built deliberately.

Enrollment opens April 1.

What This Commitment Means

Pathfinder is a 24-month formation commitment.

It is chosen as one journey, not two separate programs.

Year One — Foundations
Establish identity, responsibility, discipline, and rhythm.

Year Two — Apprenticeship
Increase challenge. Deepen ownership. Strengthen leadership in the home.

This is not temporary.

It is designed to build habits that last beyond the program.

Who Pathfinder Is Designed For

Fathers with sons generally ages 8–12.

Fathers willing to lead.

Fathers willing to show up monthly.

Fathers willing to protect time at home.

Where a father is absent, a committed male mentor may walk the journey with a boy under his care.

Pathfinder is not outsourced development.

It is father-led formation.

THE

STRUCTURE

Each month includes:

  • A clear Charge

  • Defined Trials

  • Guided father-son conversations

  • Scripture anchors

  • Practical application

Quarterly rhythms mark progress.

The father leads.

The Path guides.

What Changes Over 24 Months

Clarity replaces confusion.
Responsibility replaces passivity.
Confidence replaces drift.

More importantly:

The father changes.

Because the father must lead what the son will become.

Pathfinder is not designed for casual participation.

It is chosen deliberately.

Why Begin early?

The Path is cumulative.

Each stage prepares for the next.

Those who begin early and remain consistent receive increasing access and consideration at future thresholds.

Outside entry remains available.

But the Path is designed to be walked continuously.

How much time does Pathfinder require each month?

Pathfinder requires one intentional father-son Council each month, two lived Trials, and a short weekly Scripture rhythm.

It is not a heavy curriculum or another academic commitment. It is a structured discipleship rhythm designed to fit into normal family life.

Most fathers find it takes less time than they expected and carries more weight than they imagined.

What happens if we miss a week or fall behind?

You will miss a week at some point. That is normal.

Pathfinder is built for long-term father-son formation, not weekly perfection. If life gets busy, you simply resume the rhythm. The structure is steady and resilient.

This is a two-year discipleship path. It is meant to be consistent, not flawless.

What age is Pathfinder designed for?

Pathfinder works best for boys who are ready for real conversations and small responsibility.

For most families that means late elementary through early teen years. Readiness matters more than age. If your son can sit with you, talk honestly, and carry simple responsibility, he is ready to begin.

Is Pathfinder a Bible study program?

No.

Pathfinder is structured father-son formation rooted in Scripture. The Bible is not studied academically. It becomes the ground you stand on together.

There are no quizzes, no theological exams, and no performance pressure. Just Scripture, a clear monthly Charge, and embodied Trials that move faith into daily life.

What if I do not feel spiritually equipped to lead this?

You do not need to be a pastor. You need to be present.

Pathfinder does not require preaching or perfect answers. The quarterly readings shape you quietly in the background, but your son is not tested on them.

Consistency matters more than polish. Presence matters more than expertise.

What happens after the 24 months of Pathfinder?

Pathfinder is a complete two-year father-son formation path focused on belonging, responsibility, and integrity.

For some families, it stands alone. For others, it prepares the way for Navigator, where authority shifts and maturity deepens.

You do not have to decide the future today. You only need to decide whether you are ready to begin.

The Decision

Pathfinder is not about checking a box.

It is about deciding who will shape your son.

The question is not whether he will grow.

The question is how intentionally you will guide him.

Restoring rites of passage. Walking with fathers. Forming mighty men.
